How to Bake Potatoes on the Grill
If you’re already barbecuing, why run in and out of the house tending to all the side dishes. You can bake your
potatoes right on the grill. Make sure to break out the sour cream, chives and real bacon bits or any of your
favourite toppings.
Supplies Needed:
• Baking Potatoes
• Aluminum Foil
You will also need a fork to poke holes in your potatoes and barbecue tongs to rotate and remove potatoes from
the grill.
Step 1: Wash Potatoes
Rinse the potatoes in water to clean off dirt.
Step 2: Poke Potatoes with Fork
To release pressure that may build up during cooking, poke the potatoes with a fork a few times.
Step 3: Wrap Potatoes in Foil
Wrap the potatoes tightly in foil.

Step 4: Heat Barbecue
Preheat the barbecue to 350 degrees F or so. Allow it to heat up for about 15 minutes to get a well-established
heat.

Step 5: Put Potatoes on the Grill
Place the potatoes on the grill, away from the flame. Allow them to cook for up to 90 minutes, until they are
soft to the touch. Flip the potatoes about half way through the cooking time.
Unwrap your potatoes, slice them and add your favourite toppings.
