Built in Barbecue

The Luster of the Built In Barbecue

Having a barbecue grill in one’s backyard is always a welcome addition to a residence.

Not only is the classic barbecue a source of great cooking, it also has a visual quality to it that provides an additional ‘look’ to a backyard.

Well, for those who enjoy the classic barbecue in their yard, there is even an additional ‘step up’ to the traditional barbecue. This new variation is known as the built in barbecue.

The built in barbecue is a much sturdier and permanent version of the traditional barbecue. While it provides the same function as a movable barbecue grill, it has the added benefit of being more than a mere accessory to the back yard. It is actually part of the house.

Homeowners are always looking for a way to make their house look as attractive as possible. (Well, responsible ones anyway.) Now, there are a variety of additions, add ons, and flat out gimmickry that can be affixed to a home. Some work well, while others do not.

The addition of a barbecue is almost always a positive addition. (Unless you paint it lime green.) The only problem with a portable barbecue is that is comes off as a mere accessory. A built in barbecue has a huge advantage over the portable models as it comes off far more of a permanent fixture than an add-on. Additionally, whereas a regular barbecue will not add value to a home appraisal, the build in barbecue could add several thousand dollars.

If you’re going to add something to your house, you always add something that adds to it in the maximum way possible. The built in barbecue is such an item.
